Only for Vanguard funds. If you have Vanguard funds with your existing provider these can usually be transferred to us directly as units or shares. This is known as an in specie transfer.
We do not accept in specie transfers of non-Vanguard funds. These will be sold down by your existing provider and transferred to us as cash. We can then reinvest that cash in Vanguard funds of your choice.
Please note that there are some Vanguard funds offered by other providers which can't be transferred in specie. In these instances the funds will be sold and transferred to us as cash, and reinvested in line with your instructions.
