What accounts you can transfer to Vanguard

We accept the following transfers:

  • Stocks and Shares ISAs
  • Cash ISAs (to our Stocks and Shares ISA)
  • Junior ISAs
  • General Accounts (we only accept the transfer of Vanguard funds from other providers.)
  • Pensions – find out what pensions you can transfer to us

We accept most transfers from UK-registered pension schemes. We do not accept transfers from pensions registered in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

If you want to transfer, you’ll need to tell us:

  • the name of your current provider
  • your account or policy number with your current provider
  • the estimated value of your transfer
  • the value of any Vanguard funds you hold with your current provider
  • your personal details, if you do not already have a Vanguard account (including your National Insurance number)

If we choose and manage your pension investments for you

We do not accept transfers of pensions in drawdown if we choose and manage your investments for you. To start a transfer you’ll need to call us. You can talk to us from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
