You can invest at any time. However, there are annual ISA investment limits and these limits apply to individual tax years, which run from 6 April to 5 April.
If you have some spare money and you have not invested up to the ISA limit for a given tax year, you will need to do it before midnight on 5 April for the investment to be part of that year’s allowance.
