I received a code I did not request


It could be because:

  • you are sharing a phone number with another Vanguard account holder

  • you subscribe to an account aggregation service such as MoneyHub. We do not currently support aggregation services so cannot guarantee they will work with our service properly

You should change your password just to be safe.
