Can I set up regular withdrawals?

Yes, you can set up monthly withdrawals from a Stocks and Shares ISA or General Account. If you want to start taking a regular income from a pension, learn more about withdrawing money from a pension.
 

Once you have cash available in your account, you can withdraw it following these steps:

  • Log into your account.

  • Select 'Payments' from the 'My Portfolio' menu

  • Select 'Money out'

  • Click the ‘New regular +’ button.

  • Choose when you’d like to receive your money, and how much then click the ‘Next’ button. You'll need to set up your regular withdrawal at least 10 ten business days before the first withdrawal date – otherwise they won't come into effect until the following month.

  • Choose which investments you’d like us to sell each month for your regular withdrawal. This could be an even split across all your funds, or you can choose to take the money by selling specific funds, or using any cash you hold in your account.

  • If you haven't made a withdrawal before, you'll need to enter your bank account details. We may also need to verify these. If that’s the case we’ll be in touch with details of what you’ll need to provide.
