You can usually access your pension when you turn 55 (this is going up to age 57 from 2028).
You can get access to your pension early under 'Ill Health' rules. What can be paid differs depending on the severity of the illness.
Ill Health - is usually referred to when you can no longer work due to illness.
Serious Ill Health - is when you have been given a short expectancy to live of less than 12 months.

This must be completed and signed by you and your doctor, who must be registered in the UK. The completed form can then be uploaded to your Documents for us to review.
