How transfers work

  • You give us a few details

    Tell us about your existing provider and investments. Make sure your provider has the correct personal details like your name and address.

    If we manage your investments for you, you’ll need to call us to start a transfer. You can speak to us on 0800 587 0460 from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

  • We organise the transfer

    You won’t usually need to do anything else. We take care of everything and will only contact you if we need more information. Some providers need signed paperwork. We can give you a pre-filled form to print, sign, and post to us if needed.

  • We tell you when the transfer is complete

    Most transfers take up to 30 business days, but can sometimes take longer.

Changes in the market during transfer

Your current provider may need to sell your investments and send the money to us. You might miss out on some growth during this transfer window. Vanguard funds you hold will transfer in line with the market.
