Vanguard Survey Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”)
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Prize Draw for participating in the client survey by Vanguard. By submitting a valid entry into the Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not enter.
1. Promoter
1.1 The promoter of this Prize Draw is Vanguard Asset Management Ltd, whose registered office is at The Walbrook Building, 25 Walbrook, London, EC4N 8AF (“Vanguard”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1.2 This Prize Draw is administered by Vanguard and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by any gift card issuer or other third party unless expressly stated.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Prize Draw is open to individuals who:
- are aged 18 or over;
- are resident in the United Kingdom;
- are an existing client of the Vanguard UK Personal Investor service;
- receive an invitation to complete the survey or otherwise access the survey through an authorised link; and
- complete the survey, including opting into the Prize Draw at the end of the survey, and submit it in accordance with these Terms.
2.2 Employees, workers, officers, contractors and agents of Vanguard, its group companies, and anyone professionally connected with the administration of the Prize Draw, including immediate family members and members of the same household, are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Vanguard may require entrants to provide proof of eligibility before awarding a prize.
2.4 Entries are void where the eligibility criteria set out in this clause 2 is not met.
3. How to enter
3.1 To enter the Prize Draw, eligible participants must enter the survey using the authorised link emailed to them during the Entry Period (see below), complete the survey and opt-in to the Prize Draw at the end of the survey.
3.2 No payment, purchase, investment, subscription or other paid-for transaction is necessary to enter the Prize Draw. Vanguard will not charge entrants to access or complete the survey or enter the Prize Draw.
3.3 Only one entry per person is permitted and each entrant may win no more than one Prize (as defined below in clause 5.1). Multiple entries, automated entries, bulk entries or entries submitted through third parties will not be accepted.
3.4 Incomplete, late, corrupted, misdirected or otherwise invalid survey responses will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
4. Entry Period
4.1 The Prize Draw opens at 12.00pm on 18th August 2026 and closes at 11.59pm on 2nd September 2026 (the “Entry Period”).
4.2 Only entries received during the Entry Period will be entered into the Prize Draw. Entries received after the closing date will not be valid.
5. Prize
5.1 There are 10 prizes available, each consisting of a £100 electronic gift card (each a “Prize”). There will be 10 winners, with one Prize awarded per winner.
5.2 Each Prize will be provided to the winner in the form of an electronic gift card selected by Vanguard. The Prize will be sent to the winner using their contact details.
5.3 The Prize consists of a £100 Prezzee e-gift card. The Prize is subject to the Prezzee terms and conditions available at Prezzee Terms of Sale [prezzee.uk]. The winners are responsible for reviewing and complying with those terms. The gift card may be subject to expiry periods, retailer redemption restrictions and other conditions imposed by Prezzee or participating retailers. Vanguard accepts no responsibility for the administration of the gift card once issued.
5.4 The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash or other prizes (in whole or in part).
5.5 Vanguard reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value if reasonably necessary to do so.
5.6 Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. Winner selection
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Entry Period.
6.2 The draw will take place within 14 days after the closing date.
6.3 The draw will be conducted using a verifiably random process that can select the winners at random and the winners will be selected at random from all valid entrants received during the Entry Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The records of the draw will be retained by Vanguard.
7. Winner notification and claiming the Prize
7.1 The winners will be notified using their contact details within 14 days of the draw.
7.2 The winners must respond within 30 days of being notified to claim the Prize.
7.3 If the winners do not respond within that period, are ineligible, or are otherwise unable to accept the Prize, Vanguard may select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.
7.4 The Prize will be provided within 14 days of each winner successfully claiming the Prize and providing any information reasonably required to verify eligibility and deliver the Prize.
8. Survey responses and use of data
8.1 Vanguard will use information submitted as part of the survey to administer the survey, operate the Prize Draw, contact the winner and deliver the Prize.
8.2 Survey responses may also be used by Vanguard for research, insight, product, service or experience improvement purposes.
8.3 Any data or personal information submitted will be processed in accordance with Vanguard’s Privacy Policy.
8.4 Entrants should not include confidential, sensitive or unnecessary personal information in free-text survey responses.
9. General conditions
9.1 Vanguard reserves the right to verify entries and to disqualify any entrant who:
- breaches these terms;
- provides false or misleading information;
- tampers with the entry process;
- acts fraudulently or dishonestly; or
- otherwise acts in a way that undermines the fair operation of the Prize Draw.
9.2 Vanguard is not responsible for technical errors, network failures, system outages, incomplete transmissions or other issues that may result in an entry not being received.
9.3 Vanguard may cancel, suspend or amend the Prize Draw where it becomes reasonably necessary to do so. Any changes will be made fairly and communicated where appropriate.
9.4 Vanguard’s decision regarding the Prize Draw is final and binding.
10. Liability
10.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, Vanguard will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from entry into the Prize Draw or acceptance of the Prize, except where caused by Vanguard’s negligence or breach of these terms.
11. Governing law
11.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
