Transfers help
There are a couple of reasons this may happen:
- it can take a few days for the cash to clear in your account, and if you’ve chosen funds already, for the transaction to complete and show in your account.
- we may need some more documents from you. We’ll send you a secure message to let you know we do.
If neither of these apply to you, get in touch and we’ll look into it.
ISA transfers typically take 30 days.
Pension transfers could take as little as 10 working days or as long as 10 weeks or more.
Yes, you can.
You must have a verified bank account linked to your account before you start.
Your account fee is taken every 3 months from the day you opened your account.
It's an annual charge calculated daily and deducted in arrears.
If your fee is due and you're paying by Direct Debit, the fee will be collected around 8 working days after the due date.
If you have cash in your account, the fee will be collected as soon as it's due, and no further action from you is required.
If there's not enough cash, we'll let you know and give you 6 working days to add cash before we sell units to cover the fee. Starting with your largest mutual fund.
While you cannot nominate a beneficiary for your Vanguard Stocks and Shares ISA from within your online account, you can name your beneficiaries of your Vanguard accounts in your will.
